Don’t Miss Your Opportunity
AlKauthar has teamed up with the Imam Development Program to provide our students the opportunity to donate…
Ever since the launch of the Imam Development Program (IDP) in April 2014, AlKauthar Institute has always had a close working relationship with the program as it was initiated by Shaykh Bilal Ismail who is an AlKauthar Instructor.
Alhamdulillah through AlKauthar courses, retreats, tours & continued support from students from around the world, we have been able to partner and support the IDP Imams in 6 African countries i.e., South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Swaziland.
Some of the ways AlKauthar students have supported the Imam Development Program:
- Financial support towards the operations of IDP.
- Imams get access to AlKauthar courses & the Student Guild for themselves and their students.
- AlKauthar students have their Qurbani animals slaughtered and distributed by the Imams.
- AlKauthar students donate and support the IDP Imams.
- AlKauthar students have their Zakah Fitr, Fidyah, Aqeeqah, Kaffarah discharged by the IDP Imams.
The above helps to develop the Imam & to enhance the position of the Imam in his community.
We ask Allah to bless this partnership and accept it from us.
Qurbani
Support the imams through your Udhiya/Qurbani.
This Dhul-Hijja we have partnered with IDP to do Udhiya/Qurbani in Malawi.
Questions About Donating?
Question 1?
Being charitable and providing for the needy is a major aspect of Islam and characteristic of the Muslim. Charity is one of the major foundations of Islam. If it is weak, then the foundation of the faith and the Muslim community is weak. This will eventually come to touch each of our lives, one way or another.
“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them…”
